Keeping Our Workforce Safe and Healthy

At FG Gold the health, safety and wellbeing of our workforce is a top priority.

Our safety target for zero harm is non-negotiable. To meet our goal, we take a proactive approach to health and safety to ensure each and every worker returns home safely at the end of their shift.

The Baomahun Gold Project has achieved a significant safety milestone of 2 million hours with no lost time injuries (LTIs).

Our Commitment to First-Class Health and Safety Practices

Safety is a core value that cannot be compromised

We have a genuine commitment to ensuring the highest level of health and safety for all our onsite employees and contractors, as well as the broader community.

We actively promote a ‘safety-first’ culture by empowering our people to take responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of themselves and others.

We invest in our employees by providing them with the knowledge, skills and equipment to ensure their work can be completed safely and to the highest standards.

From senior level management to our onsite workers, our entire team is committed to ensuring that our safety systems, procedures and policies are adhered to, minimising personal risk and optimise performance.

Our Safety Approach

We take a holistic approach to managing the health, safety and wellbeing for all employees, contractors and visitors onsite. Through our occupational health and safety policy we aim to create a safe working environment for all, while also having mechanisms in place to monitor and review implementation to continually improve our safety performance.
